Pet Policy
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets at Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park, but to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone, we ask that all pet owners follow the guidelines below.
General Guidelines
- Leashed at All Times: Pets must be kept on a leash while in the park and under effective control at all times.
- No Unattended Pets: Pets must not be left alone at your site or in your vehicle/accommodation at any time.
- Noise & Behaviour: Please ensure your pet does not disturb others. Excessive barking or aggressive behaviour is not acceptable and may result in being asked to leave the park.
- Clean Up After Your Pet: Pet owners must clean up after their animals immediately. Waste bags must be disposed of in the designated bins.
- Health & Safety: Pets must be in good health and fully vaccinated. For the safety of all guests, restricted or dangerous breeds (as defined by local regulations) may not be permitted in the park.
Where Pets Are Allowed
- Pets are only permitted on the west side of the park, and only when staying in your own caravan, camper, or tent.
- Pets are strictly not allowed inside any park-owned cabins, shared amenities, or other facilities.
- If staying on a powered or unpowered site with your pet, please bring appropriate bedding and ensure pets do not enter any non-pet areas.
Responsibility & Damages
- Guests are fully responsible for the safety, care, and behaviour of their pets during their stay.
- Any damage caused by pets must be reported to park management immediately. Costs for cleaning or repairs may apply.
Respecting Others
- Please be mindful that not all guests are comfortable around animals.
- Do not allow your pet to approach other guests or their pets without clear permission.
- Failure to follow this policy may result in your booking being cancelled or you being asked to leave the park without a refund.
- We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping keep Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park safe and enjoyable for all.
